Important Announcement

Good afternoon to all

I am pleased to announce that Astrea have been confirmed as our new sponsors. I had previoulsy explained this was what I hope would take place and I'm pleased to say that it is now official.

It means more investments in the Academy, the local community, students and staff. It really is the start of an exciting future for Balby Carr. There are letters from the RSC, Astrea with some further information about Astrea that may have already seen. I will provide more details early in the new term. Please have a good Easter.

Introduction from the Headteacher

I was pleased to have been appointed permanent headteacher in April after a short spell as interim head.

My focus is on the students at this academy. Every decision we take centres on their best interests.

I want them to be proud of the school they attend.

I want them to feel school helped them achieve their best.

I want them to aspire to do great things.

In return, we will believe in our students, deliver higher standards of teaching and learning, and encourage our young people to fulfil their hopes and dreams.
